Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. Then, she went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen started her professional career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the one round with a TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. As for her final fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of night. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
